Following his Robert Burns Lifetime Achievement Award from The Los Angeles St Andrews Society, for excellence in motor sport, Anthony's old school, The Loretto School in Edinburgh has honoured him on their Lorettonian Society website with an OL Spotlight.
Anthony is in Los Angeles! Invited by the St Andrews Society of California to the Robert Burns night on Saturday 25th January. Whilst there Anthony was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in motorsport, awarded by the St Andrews Society. 2025 sees Anthony's 50th year in motorsport.
Previous recipients of this awards include Sir Sean Connery, Sir Angus Deaton (Noble Laureate) and Frank Lloyd (the first Scot to receive an Oscar).
In December 2024 Anthony was back in Japan, this time mentoring upcoming young driver James Hedley who was taking part in a test drive in a Super Formula car.
In October 2024 Anthony Reid raced in the final FunCup race of 2024 in October at Oulton Park during the BRSCC Finals Day, driving for EDF Motorsports and sharing the drive with David Farrow, son of EDF Motorsports owner Eddie Farrow, and American driver Victor KARA who was funding the drive.
Anthony raced at the Goodwood Revival meeting in September 2024 driving a Mini Cooper S in the St. Mary's Trophy in two races on Saturday and Sunday.
After promising qualifying, the race results were not a great as hoped, however Anthony had a great battle with Darren Turner, also in a Mini Cooper S.
